Anthropic is reportedly planning an initial public offering that would raise at least as much capital as SpaceX’s record-breaking IPO, positioning the AI developer for one of the largest stock market debuts in history. Bankers are marketing the offering using the company’s rapid revenue growth, expanding enterprise adoption, and expectations for continued AI infrastructure spending.

Investor discussions have centered on a potential valuation of $2 trillion or more, supported by projections that Anthropic could generate $190-200 billion in annual revenue by 2028. The company is also approaching operating profitability while continuing to invest aggressively in AI models, computing infrastructure, and data centers.

A successful IPO would further cement artificial intelligence as the dominant force in global equity markets. Anthropic’s planned listing is expected to rank among the defining capital markets events of the AI era, potentially surpassing SpaceX’s fundraising and attracting significant demand from institutional investors seeking exposure to the sector.
