SpaceXAI and Cursor have launched Grok Bot, a new generation of AI agents designed to complete complex digital tasks autonomously using their own persistent cloud-based computers. The release marks one of the company’s biggest pushes into the rapidly growing AI agent market dominated by OpenAI and Anthropic.
Unlike traditional AI assistants that respond to prompts, Grok Bot operates as an always-on digital teammate. Each bot runs on a dedicated cloud computer, allowing it to open websites, sign in to user accounts, navigate applications, execute multi-step workflows, and continue working even after the user disconnects. Bots only return when human approval is required or a task has been completed.
The platform is designed to work across applications regardless of whether they provide APIs or native AI integrations. SpaceXAI says Grok Bot can interact with software the same way a human would—clicking through interfaces, filling out forms, managing inboxes, coordinating workflows, and automating repetitive business processes. Multiple bots can also collaborate in parallel while retaining memory of previous interactions and user preferences.
The launch represents the first major product developed through SpaceXAI’s partnership with Cursor, expanding beyond AI coding into broader enterprise automation. The companies are positioning Grok Bot as an AI coworker rather than a chatbot, reflecting a broader industry shift toward autonomous agents capable of completing end-to-end tasks instead of simply generating text.
Competition in AI agents has intensified as leading developers race to build software that can independently operate computers. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft have all introduced agent-based products over the past year, making workflow automation one of the fastest-growing segments of enterprise AI. SpaceXAI is betting that persistent cloud computers and native cross-application execution will differentiate Grok Bot from competing offerings.
Grok Bot is initially available in early beta for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Premium Teams subscribers on desktop and iOS, with broader availability expected after testing.
