Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has announced planned investments in Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic, expanding its backing of companies applying artificial intelligence across industries. The chipmaker’s announcement also names healthcare technology company Doctolib as part of the French investment plans.

Genesis AI is developing general-purpose robots, combining foundation models with data collection systems, simulation infrastructure and robotic hardware. Its work targets physical AI: systems that can interpret their surroundings and perform tasks beyond a computer screen.

Pigment, based in Paris, builds enterprise planning software. Its platform helps businesses forecast performance, model alternative scenarios and make decisions across finance, sales, workforce planning and operations, placing it in the market for AI-assisted corporate decision-making.

Entalpic focuses on engineering advanced materials at the atomic scale, including surfaces and interfaces used in semiconductor manufacturing and next-generation electronics. Doctolib is developing AI agents and digital health tools for healthcare professionals and patients, extending the planned investments into medical services.

Financial terms and ownership percentages were not disclosed, and Nvidia did not say the investments had closed. It put its commitments across Europe’s technology ecosystem at nearly $10 billion. The French plans extend its broader strategy of financing AI companies, as we previously reported.
