Bybit is accelerating its transformation beyond cryptocurrency trading, launching a new global brand campaign as the exchange attempts to build a single financial ecosystem spanning crypto, stocks, gold, forex, indices, derivatives, payments and AI-powered services.
The company unveiled its new “Make Your Move” campaign as part of a broader repositioning around what it calls “The New Financial Platform.” Bybit wants users to be able to trade, invest, spend, earn and manage assets across traditional and digital markets without moving between separate financial applications.
Bybit Pushes Beyond Crypto Trading
The strategy represents a significant expansion from Bybit’s origins as a crypto derivatives exchange. Its ecosystem now combines cryptocurrency spot and derivatives trading with traditional-market products, payments, cards, yield products and artificial intelligence.
Bybit says its TradFi Perpetuals platform already offers 235 instruments available around the clock, while another 544 CFDs are accessible through its MT5 infrastructure. Together, that gives customers access to 779 traditional-market instruments within the broader Bybit ecosystem.
Those markets include equities, stock indices, commodities, precious metals and foreign exchange. Bybit also continues to add individual stock CFDs, with another 10 U.S. names joining the platform on September 24.
The company has been expanding derivatives as well. Earlier this month, Bybit introduced perpetual options linked to traditional financial assets, initially using SpaceX and Nvidia as underlying assets. The contracts settle in USDT and operate continuously rather than following conventional U.S. stock-market hours.
One Balance Across Multiple Markets
A central part of Bybit’s pitch is capital efficiency. Rather than requiring users to maintain entirely separate pools of capital for different markets, its Unified Trading Account is designed to let eligible assets support positions across multiple products.
Bybit is effectively attempting to combine characteristics of a cryptocurrency exchange, online broker and payments platform within a single account.
The company is also competing aggressively on leverage. The amount available varies substantially by instrument and jurisdiction: Bybit recently increased maximum leverage on certain gold and forex CFDs to as much as 1:2000, while stock CFDs use lower limits. Higher leverage can significantly amplify both profits and losses.
Traditional-market activity has already become substantial. Bybit says TradFi Perpetuals generated approximately $33 billion in trading volume in August, while its CFD business recorded nearly $346 billion. Those figures are company-reported and illustrate the scale Bybit says its non-crypto products have already reached.
AI Becomes Part of the Financial Platform
Artificial intelligence is another major component of the expansion. Bybit has integrated AI tools across trading, customer support, risk management and analytics rather than positioning AI as a standalone product.
Its broader AI strategy includes TradeGPT and other assistants designed to help users analyze markets and interact with platform services. Bybit says its AI infrastructure now connects with more than 600 platform services and covers more than 1,200 support scenarios.
Payments provide another link between trading and everyday finance. Bybit Pay supports crypto transfers and merchant payments, while Bybit Card connects digital-asset balances with conventional spending. The company says more than 3.55 million virtual cards have been issued, alongside a peer-to-peer network of 48,000 active merchants.
Crypto Exchanges Move Into Traditional Finance
Bybit’s repositioning reflects a broader convergence between crypto exchanges and traditional financial platforms. As digital-asset companies mature, several are expanding into equities, payments, prediction markets and other products traditionally offered by brokers or banks.
Bybit is taking that convergence particularly far. Its objective is no longer simply to attract users who want to buy Bitcoin or trade crypto derivatives, but to keep customers inside one ecosystem for a much wider range of financial activity.
The “Make Your Move” campaign gives that strategy a new global identity, but the more important shift is happening underneath the branding. Bybit is attempting to evolve from a specialized crypto venue into a multi-asset financial platform where digital assets operate alongside stocks, commodities, currencies, payments and AI.
If that strategy succeeds, the competitive boundaries between cryptocurrency exchanges, online brokers and fintech platforms could become increasingly difficult to distinguish.
