Arthur Hayes Cuts Crypto Holdings as Market Volatility Rises

Arthur Hayes has sold more than $2.4 million in crypto assets as he reduces exposure amid rising market volatility.

Crypto billionaire Arthur Hayes has begun aggressively unwinding portions of his digital asset portfolio, shifting from his previously bullish stance on market growth. Recent on-chain activity shows sizable sales across several major tokens as broader crypto volatility intensifies.

Hayes sold 260 ETH worth approximately $820,000, along with 2.4 million ENA valued at $651,000. Additional disposals include 640,000 LDO for around $480,000, 1,630 AAVE for $289,000, and 28,670 UNI totaling about $209,000. The transactions mark one of Hayes’ most active divestment periods in recent months.

Market analysts note that while the sales represent a strategic reduction rather than a full exit, they reflect growing caution among high-profile investors amid declining liquidity and heightened risk conditions. Hayes has historically timed market turning points, making his recent moves closely watched by traders.
