Anthropic is projecting approximately $10.9 billion in second-quarter 2026 revenue, more than doubling the $4.8 billion generated in the previous quarter as enterprise demand for its Claude AI models accelerates. The company is also expected to post its first operating profit, marking a major milestone for the artificial intelligence industry.
Growth has been driven primarily by enterprise adoption of Claude for coding, automation, and cybersecurity applications, alongside rising demand for agentic AI systems. Anthropic reportedly expects an operating profit of roughly $559 million for the quarter despite continued heavy spending on computing infrastructure and AI model expansion.
The results strengthen Anthropic’s position against rivals including OpenAI and Google as investors increasingly focus on whether AI companies can achieve sustainable profitability while maintaining rapid revenue growth. Analysts said the figures could reshape expectations around long-term economics in the generative AI sector.
