The system reportedly includes more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs, making it one of the largest AI computing clusters deployed for commercial model training and inference workloads.
The agreement strengthens Anthropic’s position in the intensifying race among AI developers seeking advanced infrastructure to support larger foundation models and enterprise AI services. The additional computing power is expected to improve model performance, scalability, and response capacity as demand for generative AI applications continues to rise.
The companies are also exploring long-term concepts involving orbital AI computing infrastructure, reflecting growing industry interest in energy-efficient and globally distributed AI systems.
