Founders Fund, the venture capital firm co-founded by Peter Thiel, has launched a new reality-style game show featuring some of Silicon Valley’s most recognizable figures playing the social deduction game Mafia. The project debuted on YouTube and X, with participants including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Signal creator Moxie Marlinspike, and defense technology entrepreneur Palmer Luckey.

The show is presented as a competition centered on deception, persuasion, and lie detection, skills that organizers claim have long made Mafia a popular pastime among technology founders and investors. The debut episode was hosted by Founders Fund Chief Marketing Officer Mike Solana and featured a lineup of prominent technology executives and entrepreneurs.

The project reflects the growing intersection of technology culture, online media, and venture capital as firms increasingly use entertainment content to expand their public profiles and engage broader audiences.
