Bloomberg Terminal has added streaming prices for selected Hyperliquid perpetual contracts, bringing the decentralized exchange’s markets into its professional data workflow. Bloomberg’s global head of market innovation, Michael McDonough, demonstrated the live feed in an October 5 post.
The monitor spans cryptocurrencies, equities, commodities, currencies and indexes. A screen McDonough shared on September 29 included contracts linked to Brent and WTI crude, gold, the S&P 500, EUR/USD, Bitcoin, Ether and HYPE, alongside the HYPE spot rate.
Users can enter WSL HYPE <GO> to follow the selected markets around the clock. The display pairs perpetual prices with conventional reference instruments, allowing desks to compare the two and identify gaps without switching to a separate crypto dashboard.
The announced feature concerns market monitoring. It does not announce a way to place Hyperliquid orders through Bloomberg: seeing a contract’s quote in the Terminal is separate from obtaining execution access to the underlying venue.
The addition builds on Hyperliquid’s expansion into traditional assets, previously covered by MarketSpeaker. Its continuously traded contracts can provide price signals outside conventional exchange hours, although those derivative quotes remain distinct from the cash securities or commodity contracts used as references.
