Ripple Launches U.S. Digital Asset Spot Prime Brokerage for Institutional Clients

Ripple unveils a U.S. spot prime brokerage, offering institutional access to digital assets and derivatives trading.

Ripple has launched a new spot prime-brokerage service in the United States, expanding access for institutional clients to trade major digital assets, including XRP and RLUSD. The platform allows over-the-counter spot transactions and integrates with Ripple’s existing liquidity and settlement infrastructure.

The launch follows Ripple’s acquisition and integration of Hidden Road, now rebranded as Ripple Prime. The service supports cross-margining between spot trades, derivatives, and foreign exchange instruments, providing a unified trading experience for institutional users.

Executives said Ripple aims to bridge traditional finance and digital assets, positioning the company as a key provider of crypto-market infrastructure for regulated institutions in the U.S.
