Bending Spoons has agreed to acquire collaboration software company Miro for an enterprise value of $1.355 billion. Including Miro’s net cash, the transaction implies an equity value of about $1.79 billion. The boards of both companies unanimously approved the deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The price represents a dramatic reset from Miro’s $17.5 billion valuation in January 2022, when the company raised $400 million during the remote-work technology boom. Miro now generates roughly $600 million in annual recurring revenue, with nearly 90% coming from business and enterprise customers.
Certain Miro shareholders will reinvest $295 million of their proceeds into newly issued Bending Spoons shares. The acquisition continues Bending Spoons’ strategy of buying established software platforms and improving their operations after valuations have fallen from previous peaks.
