Western Union Picks Noah for Planned USDPT Remittance Payouts

Western Union plans USDPT wallet payouts through Noah, but launch markets, timing and customer pricing remain undisclosed.

The Western Union Company (NYSE: WU) has selected Noah for Receiver Redirect, a planned service for receiving remittances in USDPT stablecoins. Noah’s October 20 announcement describes the partnership rather than a completed global rollout.

Recipients would collect USDPT in a Western Union Stablecard wallet and could hold digital dollars instead of immediately taking local cash. CoinScreamer explains the proposed payout model in its full report.

Noah will supply treasury, pre-funding, conversion and distribution infrastructure. USDPT is issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. on Solana; the token already launched in May, as we previously reported.

Western Union’s existing network spans more than 200 countries and territories. That footprint does not establish the new option’s initial availability: its product page describes USDPT transfer receipts as coming soon in select markets.

No specific launch date, initial country list, customer fees, exchange-rate terms or transfer limits have been disclosed. The announcement therefore does not establish an end-to-end transfer time or a guaranteed saving for a particular remittance corridor.
