Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z TriFold, its first multi-folding smartphone, aiming to reinforce its premium lineup as Chinese manufacturers accelerate innovation in foldable devices. The TriFold uses a dual-hinge design that folds inward into a compact form, featuring a 10-inch OLED inner display and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, includes a 5,600 mAh battery, and offers a 200-megapixel camera system.

The phone weighs 309 grams and measures 3.9 to 4.2 mm across its three panels when unfolded, reaching 12.9 mm when closed. It carries an IP48 rating for dust and water protection, signaling Samsung’s push to improve durability in next-generation foldables. The model supports multitasking with up to three simultaneous apps and offers Samsung DeX in tablet mode.

Samsung plans to begin sales in 2026, with pricing starting at $2,500.
