Intuitive Surgical Inc. (NASDAQ: ISRG) reported third-quarter revenue of $3.05 billion, up 22% from a year earlier. The robotic-surgery company released its results after the October 20 market close.

Combined da Vinci and Ion procedures grew approximately 15%. The company placed 546 da Vinci systems, compared with 427 a year earlier, expanding the base for instrument and service sales.

Adjusted EPS rose to $3.00 from $2.40, but reported EPS fell to $1.49 from $1.95. The accounting distinction matters when comparing operating growth with shareholders’ reported profit.

Results included a $450 million pretax charge for a proposed antitrust settlement, reached without an admission of wrongdoing. Court approval is still required.

Intuitive repurchased $2.94 billion of shares during the quarter. It forecasts 2026 da Vinci procedure growth of 14%–15%, near the midpoint; investors can follow other upcoming reports in the earnings calendar.
