Strategy has purchased an additional 487 Bitcoin valued at approximately $49.9 million, bringing its total holdings to 641,692 BTC. The company continues to expand its position as the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin globally.
The latest acquisition was made at an average price of around $102,557 per Bitcoin, with the firm’s overall average cost basis now estimated at $74,079. The purchase reflects Strategy’s ongoing commitment to using Bitcoin as its primary treasury reserve asset.
Funding for the buy was secured through the sale of perpetual preferred stock, enabling the firm to increase its Bitcoin exposure without issuing new common shares. The company’s total Bitcoin holdings are now worth more than $65 billion at current prices.
