Altman’s interest centers on deploying space-based data centers and communications platforms to support future generations of AI systems. Stoke Space, which is building fully reusable launch vehicles, has emerged as one of the leading U.S. startups in advanced rocket engineering, making it a strategic target for Altman’s ambitions.
