Nasdaq has officially certified Canary Capital’s spot XRP ETF, clearing the fund – ticker XRPC – to begin trading at market open today. The approval marks the first U.S. spot ETF tied to XRP, broadening institutional access to one of the market’s largest digital assets.

XRP rose over 3% following the announcement, with trading volumes climbing as investors positioned ahead of the debut. The fund’s structure will feature regulated custody and transparent pricing to meet institutional compliance standards.

Analysts describe the listing as another milestone in expanding crypto-based financial products within mainstream U.S. markets.
