MetaMask has launched native support for the TRON network across its mobile app and browser extension, expanding its multichain capabilities beyond EVM-based blockchains. Users can now store TRON-based assets, interact with TRON decentralized applications, and manage stablecoin transfers directly within the MetaMask interface.
The integration brings one of the world’s largest stablecoin settlement networks into MetaMask, strengthening its position as a universal self-custody wallet. TRON support also allows users to access staking and onchain activity without relying on third-party wallets.
MetaMask says the rollout is part of its broader strategy to support major non-EVM ecosystems alongside Bitcoin and Solana, while simplifying cross-network asset management for both retail and advanced users.
