Forecast models suggest that Elon Musk has an estimated 85% probability of becoming the world’s first trillionaire. The projection reflects Musk’s concentrated ownership stakes in Tesla, SpaceX, and other ventures, as well as the compounding effect of private-market valuations tied to AI, robotics, and space infrastructure.

In comparison, Larry Ellison is given a 6% chance of reaching trillionaire status. While Ellison remains one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, his fortune is more closely linked to public market performance and dividend-generating assets, which tend to grow at a slower pace.

Analysts note that extreme wealth outcomes increasingly depend on founder equity in high-growth technology platforms rather than diversified portfolios.
