Amazon and OpenAI have entered a $38 billion partnership to scale AI computing infrastructure using NVIDIA chips and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The agreement aims to expand OpenAI’s capacity to train and deploy advanced AI models with greater speed, reliability, and data security.

Under the deal, OpenAI will gain access to AWS’s high-performance cloud resources and customized NVIDIA GPU clusters, enabling faster model iterations and broader deployment across industries. The collaboration strengthens AWS’s position in AI infrastructure while deepening NVIDIA’s integration into enterprise-grade AI systems.

Following the announcement, Amazon shares rose about 5% and NVIDIA gained 3%, reflecting investor optimism around the accelerating demand for large-scale AI computing capabilities.
